Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Service Team Pro website and the cleaning services we provide. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our website or services.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the customer or potential customer) and Service Team Pro. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, with changes becoming effective upon posting to this page.

Service Description

Service Team Pro provides professional residential and commercial cleaning services throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Our services include regular maintenance cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in and move-out cleaning, and post-renovation cleanup.

Service details, scope, frequency, and pricing are established through individual service agreements following property assessment. The specific terms of your service arrangement are outlined in your service quote and any subsequent service agreements.

Service Scheduling and Access

Scheduled service times are established by mutual agreement between Service Team Pro and the customer. We make reasonable efforts to arrive within agreed timeframes, though scheduling may be affected by factors such as weather, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances.

Customers must provide appropriate access to properties during scheduled service times. This includes providing keys, access codes, or other entry methods as needed. Customers are responsible for ensuring safe access to all areas requiring cleaning.

If access cannot be provided at the scheduled time, customers should notify us as soon as possible. Repeated access issues may result in service rescheduling or cancellation.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Customers may cancel or reschedule service appointments by providing reasonable advance notice. We request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling to allow proper team coordination.

Cancellations made with insufficient notice may be subject to cancellation fees to cover operational costs. The specific cancellation policy for your service arrangement is outlined in your service agreement.

Service Team Pro reserves the right to cancel or reschedule service due to emergencies, severe weather, equipment failure, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will provide prompt notification of any service disruptions and work to reschedule at the earliest convenient time.

Payment Terms

Service fees are established in your service quote and agreement. Payment is due according to the terms specified in your service arrangement, typically upon completion of service or according to an established billing schedule for regular service.

Accepted payment methods include credit card, debit card, electronic transfer, or other methods as agreed. Late payments may be subject to late fees as permitted by law.

All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars and are subject to applicable taxes. Service Team Pro reserves the right to adjust pricing with reasonable advance notice to customers.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information about property size, condition, and specific cleaning requirements
  • Securing or removing valuable, fragile, or personal items before service
  • Disclosing any hazardous conditions, materials, or circumstances that may affect service safety
  • Informing us of any pets on the property and making appropriate arrangements for their safety
  • Ensuring reasonable cleanliness standards are maintained between services
  • Providing timely payment according to agreed terms

Service Limitations

Our cleaning services do not include:

  • Cleaning of biohazardous materials or hazardous waste
  • Repairs or maintenance of property fixtures or systems
  • Removal of mold, asbestos, or other specialized remediation
  • Cleaning of items or areas not specified in the service agreement
  • Outdoor cleaning beyond what is specifically agreed upon

If conditions are encountered that fall outside our standard service scope, we will discuss options with the customer before proceeding.

Liability and Insurance

Service Team Pro maintains comprehensive liability insurance covering our operations. Our liability for damages is limited to the amount covered by our insurance policy and applicable law.

We are not liable for:

  • Damage to items not properly secured or disclosed by the customer
  • Pre-existing damage or conditions not caused by our service
  • Damage resulting from hidden defects or fragile items not identified
  • Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages

Customers must report any damage claims within 24 hours of service completion to allow prompt investigation and resolution.

Quality Standards and Complaints

We strive to provide consistent, high-quality cleaning services. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us within 24 hours of service completion so we can address your concerns.

For valid quality concerns reported within this timeframe, we will return to re-clean the affected areas at no additional charge. This remedy represents our primary obligation for service quality issues.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal information is collected, used, and protected according to our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in that policy.

We maintain confidentiality regarding property access information, personal details, and other sensitive customer information.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Service Team Pro website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Service Team Pro or its content suppliers and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws.

You may view and print content from our website for personal, non-commercial use only. Any other use requires our prior written permission.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and Canada. Both parties agree to attempt resolution through good faith negotiation before pursuing legal action.

If negotiation does not resolve the dispute, either party may pursue resolution through the appropriate courts in Quebec, Canada.

Service Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time without cause, provided reasonable notice is given. For regular scheduled service, we request at least one service cycle's notice.

Service Team Pro reserves the right to refuse or terminate service for non-payment, repeated access issues, unsafe conditions, or violation of these terms.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with your service agreement and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Service Team Pro regarding our services. These terms supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
