Starting with Residential Focus
Service Team Pro began in 2018 with a straightforward focus: reliable residential cleaning in central Toronto. The initial approach centered on building consistent cleaning protocols that property owners could depend on. Rather than rapid expansion, the early years focused on understanding what made cleaning services reliable – from staff training to scheduling systems to quality verification.
This foundation period taught important lessons about property maintenance. Different homes had different needs based on size, occupancy, and lifestyle patterns. Some properties needed weekly attention while others functioned well with bi-weekly service. Learning to match service frequency to actual property needs became a core skill.
Expanding to Commercial Properties
By 2020, requests for commercial cleaning led to service expansion. Office spaces and retail locations required different approaches than residential properties. Higher traffic volumes, larger square footage, and business operation schedules all demanded adapted protocols.
Commercial cleaning introduced new considerations: working after business hours to avoid disruption, managing high-use areas like lobbies and restrooms, and coordinating with property managers and business owners. The service model evolved to accommodate these different requirements while maintaining the reliability established in residential work.
Transitioning to Eco-Friendly Products
In 2022, Service Team Pro shifted to environmentally conscious cleaning products across all services. This transition responded to increasing client interest in sustainable practices and reduced chemical exposure in occupied spaces.
The change required research into product effectiveness and staff training on new formulations. Modern eco-friendly cleaners use plant-based ingredients and enzymes that match traditional products in performance while reducing environmental impact. The transition proved that environmental consciousness and cleaning effectiveness weren't opposing goals.
